Hello,
Here’s the obvious, my name is Emery Wolfe and I am a wedding videographer, although not limited to only weddings.
I am currently residing in Regina, I work a regular job and do weddings in my spare time.
My experience started in the year 2001. That summer I shot my first wedding on 3 cameras and vowed not to do another wedding. I also started my degree in Film and Video. Jump to 2006, I finished my degree with a growing interest in documentaries and ten wedding vids under my belt, then I started to work. My first job being on the pilot for Little Mosque On The Prairie. From there I went to a little know documentaries series Landscape as Muse and from there the list grows, from TV shows like Corner Gas, Renegade Press to the B-Movie action/horror flick Hybrid,The Great Train Reverie and the 2009/10 promo video for the Regina Pats. During this time I have also tacked on another 5 wedding videos. I have, can and will do anything in the visual motion medium. From pre-production to post-production, business to art, I’ve done it all and I will continue to do it all, both professionally and with my own endeavors.
So there you have it. I guess all that is left is the stuff that maybe you don’t care for but does offer a personal flair. I do have a daughter who is the cutest little girl on the earth and my girlfriend is the greatest ever. She is also trained and in some areas more skilled than I, so not only is she an incredible, she is also a great resource. Oddly, she also works with weddings either with photography or cakes. I swear all this wedding stuff is a coincidence.
I like to think I am a very personable guy, which is why I encourage an open client relation through out the process of getting videos done. I may not like bars all that much but I do enjoy a good beer. I am also a sports guy. I play competitive full contact hockey, even though I’m pushing 30. I love the playoffs and the CFL season. I will play virtually anything, golf, badminton, baseball, soccer, tennis etc. I also watch a ton of movies. All the regular guy stuff and stuff you’ve never heard of. And honestly most of it’s not worth it but every once in a while I’ll find that gem that makes it a bit of a rush. I also love music. Mostly rock but my collection has everything from Mozart to Pantera. I enjoy country music less but do enjoy older country like Willie or Johnny.
I am also a bit of an outdoorsman. I love camping and fishing. In retrospect I’m probably not good at either, I just enjoy them and do my thing.
That is probably a great summary for myself, I enjoy what I do and do my own thing. If all of this isn’t enough for you feel free to ask what ever you want but its enough for me for now.
