It all starts with you contacting me.
From there it’s what you want. If you would like a consultation and nothing more that is great. Let me sell myself to you, after all, you have to be happy with me as a person and confident in me. If I can’t make you feel that way then maybe I’m not the right fit for you.
During the consultation I can tell you how I work, what I think will work with your situation and budget, as well as answer any questions you have. All of this will help me know what I can to do to meet your expectations or exceed them. Also, during the consultation I can give you a quote as to the cost. Keep in mind that the many options vary the price quite a bit. It is a good idea to have a budget in mind.
After this you can decide what you want to do. Whether you hire me or not the choice is yours. If you need time feel free to take it but be aware that your wedding date is not accepted in my books until I have a deposit from you. Without that someone else can fill your date. The deposit will be half of the total cost or in certain situations enough to cover my rental cost.
If you do hire me I’ll try to make the process simple. I will come to your rehearsal so that there are no surprises for the wedding. Depending on what you want, I am there for you all day. When the wedding recording is done you get to relax and I have anywhere from one full day to two full weeks of post to do. Keep in mind I do have a job so the process is a little slow. Delivery times vary. Throughout the edit I will consult with you about music you like and any other issues that may come up. In the end your product is your request, typically it’s 4 DVD’s. All of this you receive when I receive final payment.
And that’s the process.
